Good Summer Gone Bad

I was jumping on the bed, and I fell and “SNAP” goes my leg. Naturally, this is the summer that we actually do something fun.

“Kids, start packing” said my mom. When we heard that we all ran into the kitchen to see what she was talking about. She wouldn’t tell us a lick of info, except to bring about a week’s worth of clothes, and a swimsuit.

After we finished packing, we got in the car, and left. We still didn’t know where we were going, but we found out after we passed the Louisiana State Border, the Mississippi State Border, and finally the Alabama State Border. By now, I bet you have figured out where we are going. FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to the beach and Disneyland.“Wait a second” I said. “I have a broken leg, so I can’t do anything.” “That’s your own fault” said my mom. So I am kind of bummed out that I can’t do anything, but at least I can play in the sand if I put a plastic bag over my leg.

I made the biggest, best sand castle, EVER. I also had a lot of fun at Disneyland. I got to go to the Animal Kingdom, I also got to see just about every Disney character imaginable.

It actually turned out pretty fun because I made the sand castle and got to go to Disneyland. I learned that you can never be too careful.

Mine Craft

I have not played Mine Craft very much, but it is pretty fun. We are doing a project over Mine Craft to help us with area, and perimeter.

For this project I plan to make a big city with a big bank, a neighborhood, and a town hall that when looked at from above it says W.O. in diamond letters

No Thanks!

Seeing in my opinion is the most important sense, because you can play sports, watch TV, and read. Being able to see makes life so much easier, because if a person is talking to you, you can’t see the person who is talking to you the person who is  talking to you, otherwise you would have to memorize their voice. Another reason I like to be able to see is that, I wouldn’t know any colors, everything would just be black.

If i did go blind, my life would just be so plain. I play baseball, and if I was blind I wouldn’t even know what a baseball looked like, also, if I was blind I wouldn’t be able to watch TV. Life without baseball, or TV, no thanks!

A Little Perseverance Goes a Long Way

My personal hero is my mother. She is the best mom anyone could ask for. She is a mother of six, and still loves each and every one of us. Also, she used to be a firefighter.

My mother was the first female firefighter for the City of Kilgore. She worked at the Fire Department for almost ten years. She went to many calls including fires, wrecks, general calls for help, and even cats stuck in trees.

She has six kids, and she still gets to know all of us as individuals, she takes good care of us, and she tries to help us achieve all of our goals in life.

My mother is my hero because, she is the best mom I could even ever dream up.

Rocco

We went looking to replace you but I knew we never could,

Every time I look under my bed and don’t see you sleeping,

I think about where you could be,

Every day I see the dry tennis ball,

I think about what happened

We went looking to replace you but I knew we never could.

The Big One

Get up Jesse we’re going to Mimi’s house,’’ yelled Jasper. I looked at my clock, it said 7:30. “It’s too early she isn’t awake, 45 minutes, please?” I asked, “Fine’’ said Jasper with a little attitude. I slowly drifted to sleep. Sure enough when he woke me again my clock read exactly 8:15. I said “Okay” and got ready.
By the time we got to her house it was 10:15. When we rang the doorbell she opened it and hugged us. We ran into the kitchen, because she always has bacon sizzling and eggs frying ‘’After breakfast can I go fishing” I asked “If you want to” she replied.
After breakfast I went to the pond, and casted as far as I possibly could, and waited after about 5 minutes I felt a little nibble ‘’Whoah,” it took the bait hard. I set the hook, the battle was on.
I was still battling with it even after 10 minutes. I finally got it in it was a big one. I took it back to the house, and weighed it “13 POUNDS!!!!!!!’’ I said louder than I meant to.
When my grandad and I were cleaning it he said “patience is a virtue”.
