2nd Oldest WWII Vet Dies at 109

Elmer Hill, 109, will be buried as the second last WWII veteran to die. This man, who graduated from Henderson Colored School in 1927, yes, 1927, served in the battlefield of WWII. He has gone down in history.

This impacts me because, it is insane how long people can live. Elmer Hill lived for 109 years AFTER spending time fighting for the country we live in. This should be publicized a lot more because of the work that all of our veterans put into protecting the United States.

This impacts the world because, Elmer Hill was the second last WWII veteran to pass. This is a big deal because of the number of people that fought in World War 2, the fact that he lived for 109 years is simply amazing.
