Computer Rentals

Due to a breach in the school’s computer system, all of the school’s computers will be shut down for three weeks, putting the journalists into scramble to get the yearbook to the company to be published. They desperately need the school board to approve the $500 expenditure to rent computers so that they can finish the yearbooks.

If the journalists fail to get the yearbook out in time, there will be no Yearbook Day, a day where all the seniors get together and sign each others yearbook. This has been a tradition for twenty-two years and nobody wants to break it.

“If the school board doesn’t approve the $500 expenditure, I am not sure what we will do,” Rodney Stevens, yearbook advisor, said.

If the yearbook staff fails to get the yearbook to the company, Yearbook Day will be canceled, making the seniors upset, and breaking the twenty-two year-long tradition.

“Yearbook Day is one of the highlights of senior year,” Reggie White, senior, said. “It would be weird not to get my friends to sign my book before I go off to college.”

Yearbook Day is strongly favored as the most important traditions at this small school.

“Yearbook Day is more popular than prom,” Reggie said.
